UNESCO Global Geoparks — Africa

UNESCO Global Geopark, inscribed 2018, in Tanzania. Engaresero, near Lake Natron, reveals footprints of modern humans dating back 5,000 to 19,000 years, offering a glimpse into our ancient past. The geopark has four discovery routes, called the North, South, Caldera, and Oldonyo Lengai Routes.
