This is traditional, home-style cuisine – think Austrian classics such as Wiener schnitzel, Backhendl (breaded fried chicken) and Tafelspitz (boiled beef), as well as venison Beuscherl (lights) and freshwater fish from the region. Those who prefer something a little more elevated can opt for a surprise menu (three to five courses) in the evening, subject to advance booking. They also have seven cosy guestrooms.
