Izu Peninsula UNESCO Global Geopark

UNESCO Global Geopark, inscribed 2018, in Japan. Charming coastal towns, such as Shimoda and Atami, offer glimpses into the region’s maritime heritage with historic buildings, museums, and scenic waterfronts.
