Papuk UNESCO Global Geopark

UNESCO Global Geopark, inscribed 2015, in Croatia. The House of the Pannonian Sea is a recently renovated visitor centre in Velika that features one of Papuk’s most interesting geological stories, that of the long-gone Pannonian Sea. The Geo Info Centre in Voćin is the perfect starting point for getting to know the Papuk UNESCO Global Geopark through a multimedia and interactive exhibition. Explore over 200 km of marked hiking trails in Papuk, supported by a long mountaineering tradition, six hiking shelters, and an active network of 24 mountaineering association.
