Sierra Morena de Sevilla UNESCO Global Geopark

UNESCO Global Geopark, inscribed 2015, in Spain. The “Beja-Acebuches” amphibolites, interpreted as the remains of an ancient ocean floor and a suture between tectonic plates, are a rare occurrence. Located in the geographical centre of the park, Cazalla de la Sierra is one of the most famous towns in this northern part of the province of Seville. Constantina is a stunning small village that is well worth the visit.
