Vikos - Aoos UNESCO Global Geopark

UNESCO Global Geopark, inscribed 2015, in Greece. Hike parts of the world-famous Epirus Trail that crosses from Mount Grammos to the Tzoumerka mountain range. Hike up Mount Tymphe to discover its stunning alpine lake, Drakolimni, or Dragon Lake. According to local legend, the lake's depression was formed during battles between dragons who hurled boulders at each other.
