Trollfjell UNESCO Global Geopark

UNESCO Global Geopark, inscribed 2019, in Norway. During the annual Nordland Regatta each June, the four-oared bindalsfæringen, the Viking boats, are shown sailing on the Bindalsfjord. See petroglyphs at Vistnesdalen and soapstone quarries at Talvik that trace coastal settlement back to the Stone Age.
