Grevena - Kozani UNESCO Global Geopark

UNESCO Global Geopark, inscribed 2021, in Greece. Discover the first identified ophiolites—sections of ancient seafloor uplifted above sea level—which played a key role in shaping the revolutionary scientific theory of plate tectonics.
