Dinder Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 1979, in Sudan. The Dinder National Park was established in 1935 and became a biosphere reserve in 1979. Situated along the border with Ethiopia, this biosphere reserve includes tropical savannah and grassland ecosystems. The whole biosphere reserve is considered a core area with rich flora and fauna.
