Boucle du Baoule Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 1982, in Mali. This biosphere reserve lies in the West African savanna, approximately 200 km north-west of Bamako in western Mali. The 918,000 ha area, also designated as a national park, comprises two biogeographic zones: the Sudano-Guinean zone in the south and the Sahelian zone in the north.
