Hadejia Nguru Bade Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 2020, in Nigeria. Located in the Sudan–Sahelian zone of Nigeria, in the Lake Chad basin, the biosphere reserve encompasses Nigeria’s first Ramsar site, the Bade Nguru Wetland. It also includes the Baturiya Game Reserve, a former community forest.
