Wadi Allaqi Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 1993, in Egypt. Non-sedentary inhabitants use the biosphere reserve’s natural resources for livestock transhumance, charcoal production, the collection of medicinal plants, quarrying and small-scale cultivation.
