Djurdjura Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 1997, in Algeria. This biosphere reserve is situated in the Djurdjura Mountains, at 800–2,300 m above sea level, on the Mediterranean coast in north-east Algeria. It is influenced by a Mediterranean climate, with a more continental climate in the south.
