Huay Tak Teak Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 1977, in Thailand. Huay Tak Teak Biosphere Reserve is located in Lampang Province, northern Thailand. The core area is dominated by stands of teak (Tectona grandis) interspersed with trees of mixed deciduous forest. Huay Tak Teak Biosphere Reserve is part of Tham Pha Thai National Park, designated for the protection and conservation of native flora and fauna.
