Snake Island-Laotie mountains Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 2013, in China. The Snake Island–Laotie Mountain Biosphere Reserve is in the western part of Dalian’s Lushunkou District and covers a total area of 9,072 ha. Its primary targets for protection are Agkistrodon shedaoensis, migratory birds and ecological environments.
