UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 2019, in Indonesia. Togean Tojo Una-Una Biosphere Reserve is located in the centre of the world’s coral reef triangle, which has the highest diversity of coral species globally. The biosphere reserve’s local population consists mainly of fishermen living in the transition area’s main settlements around the city of Ampana.
