Denali Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 1976, in United States of America. Denali Biosphere Reserve and National Park is situated in south-central Alaska, centred on the Alaska Range, which separates the coastal lowland from the interior. Denali includes Mount McKinley, the highest peak in North America, which towers 4,800 metres above the surrounding landscape, as well as the Denali fault system, the largest crustal break in North America.
