Biosfera Engiadina Val Müstair Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 1979, in Switzerland. The biosphere reserve is situated in the easternmost part of Switzerland on the right bank of the Inn River, close to the Italian border. Ranging from 1,400 to 3,173 metres above sea level, the area comprises forests, alpine grasslands, bare rock and scree.
