South-East Rügen Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 1991, in Germany. The biosphere reserve is situated in the south-eastern part of Rügen, Germany’s largest island. Within its 22,800 ha, almost all coastal forms of the southern Baltic Sea can be found.
