Teberda Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 1997, in Russian Federation. This cluster biosphere reserve is situated on the northern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Range in the upper Teberda Valley. It is a typical mountainous region, with elevations largely above 2,000 m.
