Los Argüellos Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 2005, in Spain. Los Argüellos is located in the northern centre of León Province and includes the municipalities of Vegacervera, Cármenes and Valdelugueros. The region has distinctive geomorphological features, with numerous caves, such as Valporquero, Llamazares and Barredo, of touristic and scientific interest.
