Bassin de la Dordogne Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 2012, in France. The Dordogne River and its basin form one of the six major watersheds of the Adour–Garonne, covering about 24,000 km². The Dordogne is an emblematic river draining central France and providing important ecosystem services to the region.
