Ohrid-Prespa Biosphere Reserve (Albania)

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 2014, in Albania. Located in south-eastern Europe on the Balkan Peninsula, the Albanian component of the Ohrid-Prespa transboundary biosphere reserve combines water bodies with surrounding mountain relief. Flat areas border the outer limits of the territory, which stretches across Albania and North Macedonia.
