Tepilora, Rio Posada and Montalbo Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 2017, in Italy. Located in Sardinia, this biosphere reserve covers more than 140,000 ha. It presents mountainous areas to the west and a flat strip to the east, with rivers and coastal areas. The reserve comprises 17 municipalities, between the provinces of Olbia-Tempio and Nuoro.
