Apaneca-Llamatepec Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 2007, in El Salvador. This biosphere reserve hosts important ecosystems and species, with highly diverse habitats including páramo-like montane forests, cloud forests, vegetation on volcanic lava flows and conifer forests.
