La Selle Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 2012, in Haiti. This biosphere reserve includes La Selle in Haiti, designated in 2012, and Jaragua–Bahoruco–Enriquillo in the Dominican Republic, designated in 2002. The two reserves are linked ecologically across a political and administrative frontier. Their joint designation supports more coherent environmental management.
