Jesuit Missions of La Santísima Trinidad de Paraná and Jesús de Tavarangue

UNESCO World Heritage site inscribed 1993, located in Paraguay. In addition to their artistic interest, these missions are a reminder of the Jesuits' Christianization of the Río de la Plata basin in the 17th and 18th centuries, with the accompanying social and economic initiatives.
