Tianzhushan UNESCO Global Geopark

UNESCO Global Geopark, inscribed 2015, in China. The region is also known as the birthplace of Zen Buddhism and is home to the 1,500-year-old Sanzu Temple, which remains open to visitors. In the southern part of the geopark, Doumu village preserves a 6,000-year-old pottery tradition. Local artisans continue to use the same dragon kiln as their ancestors.
