Wangwushan-Daimeishan UNESCO Global Geopark

UNESCO Global Geopark, inscribed 2015, in China. For the more adventurous visitors, the ropeway of the Wangwushan Scenic Area offers the opportunity to observe geological relics of the Wangwushan orogeny and the Fangshan landform. Visitors can also hike on any Wangwushan national forest trails or go horseback riding on the alpine meadow area at the top of Daimeishan. The Wangwushan-Daimeishan Geological Museum, located beneath the peak of the Temple of Heaven, allows visitors to explore all aspects of the geopark’s geological heritage.
