Fanjingshan Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 1986, in China. Located in southern China, in Guizhou Province, Fanjingshan lies within the Chinese subtropical forest biogeographic region. The reserve has mountainous terrain, and its main peaks form part of the Wuling Mountain Range. Elevation ranges from 480 m to 2,570 m above sea level.
