Doñana Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 1980, in Spain. The biosphere reserve is located in the Gulf of Cádiz and represents one of the most important protected areas in Spain. The core area is made up of Doñana National Park. The importance of Doñana lies in the variety of ecosystems it hosts and the high number of species it represents.
