Tuchola Forests Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 2010, in Poland. The biosphere reserve is one of the largest forest complexes in north-western Poland. Within this forested area, there are a number of natural habitats in need of protection. These include pine and deciduous forests, heathlands, Lobelia lakes, dystrophic lakes with stonewort meadows, and peat bogs.
