Colli Euganei Biosphere Reserve

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, inscribed 2024, in Italy. This picturesque landscape in the Veneto region of north-eastern Italy is defined by 81 volcanic hills, including Monte Venda, rising amidst thermal spas and plains with olive groves and vineyards. Endowed with a diverse array of flora and fauna endemic to the Veneto plain, the biosphere reserve has established partnerships with universities and a comprehensive management framework.
